| Deb Lathrop was inspired to do this show by experiences during her widespread, worldwide travels. She has contributed many hours to fulfill her dream of this show. | Artists were invited to create something using 9 as the theme, in any media. As you can see from the pictures below, there were many varied interpretations. |
| The show will be on display at both the Parkside Gallery and the SPACe Gallery on West Ryus Ave in La Veta. Both galleries hosted receptions Saturday, Oct. 8, 2 - 5 pm. For more information about 9 Patch events throughout October, visit www.The9Ps.com . This includes a Fashion Show Oct. 15 and a dance Oct. 22, as well as the 9 Patch Quilt Show at Ricky Tims Quilt Gallery, also on West Ryus Ave. There are no admission fees to the art and quilt shows. Sales from the shows will benefit local arts organizations, the artists, and the Katrina Relief Fund. |
