Feb. 3, 10 am – 1:30 pm Rules: ¨ $10 fee for first entry; $5 for each additional entry, 5th entry FREE! ¨ All entered work must be original-no reproductions ¨ All media accepted. For questions please call The Gallery 719 742-3074 Gallery hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 am – 2 pm. Saturdays 10 am – 2 pm Artwork must be hand delivered to the SPACe Gallery, 132 W. Ryus, La Veta. All entered artwork will be displayed, as long as it conforms to the stated guidelines AND is properly presented for display, with a wire on the back for hanging. If 3D, it must be sturdy, self-supporting and easily moved. However, SPACe reserves the right to refuse work considered inappropriate or too large for the facility.

Gallery and Gift Shop Policies All entries must be for sale. Entry fees are non-refundable. All of the wearable creations must be presented with appropriate hangers, easels, pedestals, etc. Wire for hanging apparel will be provided by SPACe, but you must provide the hangers that will suspend from the wire. SPACe members may place work in The Gallery Gift Shop without entry fees at any time, on a space available basis, at the discretion of the Gift Shop manager. Reproductions are placed in the Gift Shop. ONLY ORIGINAL ART WILL BE ACCEPTED IN GALLERY SHOWS, with exceptions made for featured artists. Reproductions must be clearly marked as such. Artwork approved by the Gift Shop manager must be labeled by the artist, with the artist’s code, an item number, and the price (which includes the 25% commission). An inventory list of every item must also be on file in the Gift Shop. First time artists must obtain an artist’s code and fill out an inventory sheet before leaving items for the Gift Shop. Artists adding work, withdrawing work, or replacing work must update their Gift Shop inventory sheets. Payments for sales are sent at the end of each month. Artists also receive a copy of each sales slip with their checks. It is the responsibility of the artist to replace items that have been sold. Insurance is the responsibility of the artist. SPACe, its employees, volunteers, and officers will not be liable for any losses or damages.

Consignment Agreement The following terms and conditions are agreed to by the undersigned artist or representative: A 25% commission will be deducted from the listed price when any of the listed artwork is sold as a result of its presence in this show. Payment will be made to the address provided, at the end of the month during which the sale was concluded. The Gallery, SPACe, its officers, volunteers, and employees do not assume responsibility for any works that are lost, stolen, or damaged while in The Gallery’s possession. Insurance is the responsibility of the artist. Every effort will be maintained to prevent any such loss. The consigned works must be claimed and removed at the end of the show. If art will not be picked up on the closing day of the show, arrangements must be made in advance with The Gallery staff, for pick-up. Otherwise, any items left after the check-out date may be subject to storage fees and any left over 60 days become the property of The Gallery.
