La Veta Painting in Plein Air

This year’s La Veta Painting En Plein air was attended by a mixed group of excellent experienced plein air painters and beginners who took Coni Grant’s one day plein air painting workshop. Below are some of the results of the show as well as photos of the workshop.

Before the artists could begin their paintings, they checked in a the SPACe gallery. Shown is Dave Montgomery checking in with volunteers Mary Jean Fowler and Katharine Emsden.
Mary Jean provided a cute stamp that was applied to the backs of all artists' painting supports before they began their work.

At the reception, Coni Grant supplied many tips to artists on how they can improve their work.
There were lots of good things to eat and great discussions at the reception.
Unfortunately, this show was only on display for a couple of hours--it was a great show!
