Painting En Plein Air
The French expression “en plein air” means “in the open air” and is particularly used to describe the act of painting outdoors. Artwork accepted in this show must have been painted primarily outdoors. Nine area artists are offering their works in the show which is displayed in the Main Gallery. A special showing of historic Taos artist Gene Kloss’s works is on display in the Jeannie and John Fuller Gallery. The display is a small part of the collection of works by Kloss, on loan from the Sangré de Cristo Arts Center in Pueblo.
