Charles and Jeanette White attended the reception and graciously agreed to sign copies of the 2015 catalogs given to the generous donors who made the show in La Veta possible.

From the from the Charles & Jeanette Collection of contemporary American Southwest artworks. . Twenty artworks by artists such as RC Gorman, Phyllis Kapp and Dan Naminga, to name a few, will be in the exhibition. Here are 5 of the paintings in the show.
Charles and Jeanette White have contributed $2500 as a matching grant, challenging SPACe to match their contribution in order to bring the exhibit to La Veta. This outstanding exhibit is being made possible by the contributions of Larry & Sue Morgan, Paul & Teresa Mueller, Marilyn Hall, Randy & Angela Collins, Betty & Kelly Swindle, William & Barbara Everheart, Ed & Deb Donovan, Rose & Roy True, Kathy & Don Brown, Brigitte and Tony Juarez, Dorothy O’Dowd, Carol & Larry Spradley, Bert Rosen & Jessica Newton, Mary Jean & Jim Fowler, Paula & Jim Berg, Betty Bradley, Skip and Alice Johnson, Jeannie & John Fuller, Edward & Judith Fuentes, Joanne Larratt, Gayle & Bob Baker, and Pat Newell. Donors will be recognized at the reception Aug. 20 and will receive the complete catalog of the original exhibit that was on display last summer at the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center. While the Whites have donated the paintings in this exhibit to the Arts Center, there were quite a few paintings in the 2015 show they couldn’t part with, but are in the catalog.
