2024 Youth Art Workshop

July 8-12, 9 am – 12 pm

This year’s workshop, “Creative Expressions”,  July 8-12, will be held at La Veta School of the Arts, 105 West Ryus Avenue, La Veta, Colorado.

Our Combined Youth Art Workshop is open to young people ages 8-16. Only $35.00 per child for the entire week. All materials included. Students will bring their own snacks and drinks. Water will be provided. Register early!

Course Description: In this workshop we will be using a variety of media including chalk, colored pencils and paint to create vibrant and expressive works of art describing what we see in nature.  It will be very exciting and each painting will be a surprise in the end since we will be letting our imaginations go to depict what we see and understand.  Come and experience this freedom and create fantastic works of art! 

The final session, Friday, July 12 at 11am, will be an exhibit of our art work with a reception for family and friends. Light refreshments will be served!
