2025 Youth Art Workshop

July 14-18, 9 am – 12 pm

This year’s workshop, “Creative Expressions”,  July 14-18, will be held at the Pavilion in La Veta Town Park (located behind SPACe Gallery), La Veta, Colorado.

Our Combined Youth Art Workshop is open to young people ages 8-16. Only $35.00 per child for the entire week. All materials included. Students will bring their own snacks and drinks. Water will be provided. Register early!

Course Description: In this workshop we will be using a variety of media including chalk, colored pencils and paint to create vibrant and expressive works of art describing what we see in nature.  It will be very exciting and each painting will be a surprise in the end since we will be letting our imaginations go to depict what we see and understand.  Come and experience this freedom and create fantastic works of art! The final session, Friday, July 18 at 11am, will be an exhibit of student’s art work with a reception for family and friends. Light refreshments will be served!
