Vivian works on black scratchboard with a knife and white scratchboard with colored pencils and ink. Her main subjects are wildlife and florals which she creates with realistic detail. She grew up in the Florida Keys and lived in various southern states before relocating to Colorado.

Ann Gethen works in oil, watercolor and etching. Her oils are unique as she works them with a painting knife and not a brush. Her watercolors are usually florals and she uses this medium to work Botanical Illustrations. Her studio is open by appointment.

Predominately a plein air painter, Coni uses color to express a distinctive view of nature. She has lived and painted in Kansas, Kansas, California, New Mexico, Montana, Newfoundland, and in the last 5 years, southern Colorado, where she is as easily found easily found in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range as among the industrial buildings of Alamosa, CO.

Pat is a painter and photographer with a love of the natural world and strives to express the life and beauty which surrounds us all through her art. Her paintings have been accepted in juried shows where she has often-times received awards. Her paintings and photographs may be seen at the SPACe Gallery in La Veta. She graduated from Loretto Heights College in Denver with a BA in Fine Art, studied at Denver Botanic Gardens School of Botanical Illustration and with several Colorado artists and teachers.

I consider myself primarily a printmaker (etching, monoprints, collographs) but I also paint in oils and acrylics. I enjoy doing collages as well and save every interesting scrap of paper or anything I think could be used for that purpose.

Peggy Zehring studied with Kandinsky-inspired, abstract artists in Chicago at UICC and has been a professional artist for 26 years. Her latest work is based on the ancient principles of Sacred Geometry and Feng Shui, with shows in New York and recently in a 30 piece show in Taipei, Taiwan. She is the President and Director of The La Veta School of the Arts.
