2026 Youth Art Workshop

Classes met July 6 – 10 at SPACe

This year’s youth workshop, July 6-10, was held in the Class Room at SPACe Gallery in La Veta, Colorado.

Our Combined Youth Art Workshop, taught by Cherine Marie-Kuster, was open to young people ages 8-16, with a fee of only $35.00 per child for the entire week. All materials were included. Students were encouraged to bring their own snacks and drinks. Water was provided.

The workshop featured a variety of media including chalk, colored pencils, found objects, and paint, to create vibrant and expressive works of art describing what we see in nature.  It was very exciting and each project was a surprise, by letting the students use their imagination to create amazing art! Plan on joining us next year for an exciting week of creativity.
