2024 Photography Show

Opening Reception: August 3, 5-7 pm

The Spanish Peaks Arts Council (SPACe) is pleased to announce the 2024 Photography Show at the SPACe Gallery in La Veta, Colorado, July 30 – August 24, with a gala Opening Reception on August 3 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.

All entries will be juried for the final selection of works that will be included in our show. After jurying, our judge, award winning professional photographer and Instructor, Steven Bigley of Pueblo, will select First, Second, and Third, place winners and two Merit Awards. Cash Awards will be presented during the evening of the Opening Reception.

         First Place – $1000

         Second Place – $500

         Third Place – $300

         Merit Award (2) – $100 each

Submissions for consideration in this show must be made through CaFÉ, the leading online application and jurying system for calls for entry.

When searching for the show, enter Spanish Peaks Arts Council, not 2024 Photography Show as there are many Photography shows.

The entry fee is a single, non-refundable $35, for up to four entries in all formats. 

Pieces selected for the show must be properly prepared for display, with wires on the back (no sawtooth hangers) and not exceed 30 inches wide, including frame. Ship photography to SPACe, PO Box 803, 132 W. Ryus Ave., La Veta, CO 81055. Include a description with your name, address, title of piece, price attached to the back of the piece. You will be notified by July 1 if your work has been accepted. We must receive your work no later than July 19 in time for judging. You must include a return shipping label for return of any unsold art.
